【節期的真諦】
每逢提起舊約，我們最先想到，也是最不解的，可能就是守節期。人人皆知神極其重視守節，但原因何在呢？
就連主耶穌基督降生，在那極珍貴的33年半裡，也沒有例外，同樣遵行父的旨意，一年三次按時守節。原來，神設立節期的真諦，不在於儀式、不在於祭物。
重點是，你在朝聖的過程中，必定會遇到不同的人與事或難處，貧窮的、受傷的、需要憐憫和安慰的。這就考驗你的善良和品格，是否真正愛神愛人，願意順服和付出呢？
從行善中，反省及鍛鍊自己的本性。這才是神真正喜悅的祭，並非牛、羊、鴿子，而是從你內心散發的美好。
「耶和華喜悅燔祭和平安祭，
豈如喜悅人聽從祂的話呢？
聽命勝於獻祭；順從勝於公羊的脂油。」
