神的愛，其實是怎樣的呢？ 人總以為神的愛，是一種感受， 一旦陷入逆境，就覺得神的愛離開了。 可是，他們有否嘗試過自我開解呢？ 為何神會為你設定這情境呢？ 如果是神，祂又會如何應對呢？ 神希望我作出甚麼改變呢？ 許多人面對困難的第一反應， 就是︰「Just as I am.」 （我就是這樣的了。）
即使成了基督徒，仍是想︰ 「我就是這樣的了，我不需要改變， 神應該遷就這樣的我！」 結果，令自己的信仰、人生一敗塗地。 要真正理解神的愛， 就只有於逆境中堅持信仰、堅持效法神， 懂得自我開解、尋找出神的心意， 才是真正愛神，真正體會神的愛。 因為，唯一能夠誕生愛的地方， 就只有我們的內心。
