烏克蘭入侵俄羅斯

日華牧師早已分析，以巴戰爭及俄烏戰爭，必然會朝沒完沒了的方向發展。俄烏戰爭方面，戰事由2022年2月24日開始，至今，原來已經持續超過兩年。由最初人們估計，俄羅斯會以閃電速度打敗烏克蘭，演變成如今經過兩年的爭持。近日，整個局勢更出現急速逆轉，烏克蘭首次以入侵俄羅斯的方式進行反攻。這是二次世界大戰以來，俄羅斯領土首次被入侵。並且，於一星期內，喪失1,000平方公里土地。

中東衝突現況

面對軍事失利，普京回應將對烏克蘭軍隊作出強力回應。同時間，普京亦接見了巴勒斯坦自治政府領袖阿巴斯，討論中東局勢。顯然，兩股勢力將會連成一線。原因是，以巴戰爭方面。雖然，以色列軍已經將加沙走廊居住的巴勒斯坦人，趕到南邊最後一個城市拉法。

但哈馬斯手上，仍然控制著去年2023年10月7日擄劫的人質，而談判，亦遲遲未有進展。直到7月31日，以色列特工於伊朗首都德黑蘭，暗殺了哈馬斯領導人，伊斯梅爾‧哈尼亞。當時，哈尼亞正於伊朗，參加新總統就職儀式，不久，於伊朗一所大樓內，與其他3位哈馬斯領導人及數名警衛一同被殺。

同日，7月31日，以色列為了報復黎巴嫩真主黨發射火箭，展開空襲還擊。並於空襲中，擊斃黎巴嫩真主黨軍事指揮官舒庫爾。同一天，哈馬斯及黎巴嫩真主黨高層被殺，事件隨即令中東局勢升溫。黎巴嫩真主黨領袖稱，以色列越過了紅線，令戰鬥踏入新階段。2024 年8月4日，真主黨向以色列發射數十枚火箭。歐洲多國隨即關閉黎巴嫩大使館，並呼籲國民立即離開，多國民眾趕緊離境。到了2024年8月5日，黎巴嫩真主黨出動無人機襲擊以色列北部軍事目標。

同時，以色列和美國，亦為到伊朗可能發動的重大報復行動作出準備。美國除了派遣航空母艦「喬治亞號」及「林肯號」，加速前往中東地區外，亦宣佈派遣核潛艇，加強保衛以色列。

So just how bad could the damage be?

Iran has a number of regional allies it can call upon.

Hezbollah in Lebanon, Shia militants in Syria and Iraq
