.
“Son, I want to tell you about your grandpa,
whose words have the power to change the world,
who reminded me to keep a pure heart,
so that I may inspire and illuminate the lives of others.”

A1:
Am I playing hide and seek?
Cannot find a way to sleep
It is really not my fault
That I am not tired at all
And then when I could not take
It anymore
I hop out of bed
And silently I go next door
For some answers
I can’t ignore
B1:
Papa, I wanna hear your bedtime story one more time
The one about grandpa
How he could smile though life was going downhill
Even though other people laughed and laughed
He always had a dream
Oh papa I wanna be like him
A2:
Blink and you would miss what he’s saying
Listen close, it’s the only way
Always keep your heart tender
From it flows everything else
There is no easy way to get by
Follow the rules, they’re always true
Cause how can you bring hope to the world?
If you’re without it
To light the spark
B2:
Papa, there is no other soul who can understand
What I am going through
For I will walk through fire for You
All of the admiration and the fame
Will scatter like the wind
Your promise alone will be the same
